Shell GameChanger helps move ideas to reality by sponsoring entrepreneurs to develop their ideas into a product that can be introduced to the marketplace. Specifically, we look for innovative ideas that address a demand or significant problem in the energy industry and have the potential to change the game. Ideas can range from new oil exploration techniques to improved production tools, or even new forms of energy. We invest in novel, early stage ideas that could impact the Energy System to help get them from an entrepreneurs mind to “proof of concept.” For more information visit

AIM is the London Stock Exchange’s international market for smaller growing companies. A wide range of businesses including early stage, venture capital backed as well as more established companies join AIM seeking access to growth capital. When AIM was first launched in June 1995 the market was home to just 10 small companies with a total market value of over £82 million. Today there are over 1,100 AIM-quoted companies, including over 400 overseas businesses, with an aggregate market capitalisation of £67 billion.

Home to companies from a broad range of industries, sectors and regions, AIM has helped thousands of ambitious companies raise capital to fund their ongoing expansion and development. The unique global community of advisers and investors who help companies join AIM and support them once on market is integral to AIM’s success, with this expert network having helped over 3,260 companies raise in excess of £76 billion on AIM since 1995. AIM’s market structure, specially designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized companies, continues to create a compelling offering for companies seeking to raise funds on a public market. AIM’s success has enhanced London’s reputation as the world’s capital market, where companies seek to benefit from London’s core strengths: international profile; high standards of regulation; and the deep pools of capital available. For more information please visit
