Key dates for the Clean and Cool Mission:

15 December Application opens
30 January Application system closes at midday
6 February Winning companies announced
15 March Mission briefing and launch event this week in Central London
24 – 31 March Clean and Cool Mission in San Francisco

Competition Process

Companies wishing to join Clean and Cool Mission 2012 must submit an online application. A panel of expert judges will review the applications to select 20 of the best, high growth potential cleantech companies ready to do business in the US and overseas. Successful companies will be contacted on 6 February 2012. In February companies are required to provide information for inclusion in the Mission brochure and website. Mission companies are required to attend a briefing session, followed by Mission UK launch and networking event in central London on 15 March.

Judges

Judges will be announced in January.

Companies selected receive:

  • One place on Clean and Cool Mission 2012
  • Week long itinerary of events as detailed in the 2012 agenda
  • Travel and subsistence where identified in the 2012 agenda
  • Briefing and investor pitch support
  • UK launch and networking event in March 2012

Please note all successful applicants are required to pay £1,750 to secure their place on the Mission and help with covering the costs of the flight, accommodation and attendance at The Cleantech Global Forum. Flights and accommodation will be booked by the organisers.

Web Mission:

Web Missions embrace innovations in the "Web Economy", including mobile, social, semantic and real-time web technologies; Cloud2; social gaming; and 3-D/RealVR environments.
