This time of year sees plenty of gazing into crystal balls and navels alike, with a glut of annual reviews and predictions for the year ahead. This list – my personal view and not necessarily shared by the sponsors and partner of the Mission – is a quick and light look at a few of the most reported trends for cleantech. As such, it’s a mix of insights into the possible short and long-term interests of the partners and customers to be found on Clean and Cool Mission 2012.

Since 2008 there have been four missions, focussed on entrepreneurs working in web innovation, future health and clean technology.

Web Mission:

Web Missions embrace innovations in the "Web Economy", including mobile, social, semantic and real-time web technologies; Cloud2; social gaming; and 3-D/RealVR environments.
